Biography Anna Tumyan, M.D., is a Faculty Associate in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of the Division of Endocrinology. Originally from Armenia, Dr. Tumyan earned her medical degree at Yerevan State Medical University in Yerevan, Armenia. She completed diagnostic radiology residency training with the National Institutes of Health, as well as internal medicine residency training at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. She later pursued advanced training through a fellowship in rheumatology at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston and an endocrinology fellowship at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in rheumatology and endocrinology, Dr. Tumyan joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2017.
