Dr. Chandrasekaran earned her undergraduate degree from Yale Univeristy in New Haven, CT. A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, she returned to her home state to graduate from Louisiana State University School of Medicine. Dr. Chandrasekaran completed a cardiology fellowship at Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans, Louisiana. Her internal medicine residency and internship were at Rush Univeristy Medical Center in Chicago, after which she served as an academic hospitalist for one year.
As a non-invasive cardiologist, Dr. Chandrasekaran treats structural disease of the cardiovascular system, including coronary artery disease, chest pain, congestive heart failure, peripheral vascular disease, irregular heart rhythms and high cholesterol. Her interests outside of medicine include her family, travelling, and the New Orleans Saints.
