Biography

Dr. Rong is originally from China and received his Ph.D. at Tsinghua University in Beijing. Dr. Rong brings to UTSW a strong background in autophagy. He currently specializes autophagosome-lysosome fusion, autophagic lysosome reformation and the role of autophagy in metabolism.
