Meet Dr. Zarmina Aman
Obstetrician & Gynecologist

When patients tell me about any of their issues, I want them to know that I am genuinely listening and being attentive so that I can find the best solution for them.”

As a mother of two daughters, Zarmina Aman, M.D., understands the gift of motherhood, firsthand. Coming from a family of physicians, Dr. Aman always knew she wanted to treat and help people through medicine. However, after two devastating miscarriages during residency, she found her calling to become an obstetrician-gynecologist.

“Being an Ob/Gyn is not a decision I made during medical school to simply earn a living, I really wanted to use my own life experiences to relate to other women,” she says.

As an Ob/Gyn, Dr. Aman feels the most important part of her job is to listen to her patients. After her own long journey to have two daughters, Dr. Aman understands the anxieties that surround fertility, being pregnant, and the final delivery. In addition, coming from a conservative culture, she feels that she has learned to be open to deal with change that one cannot control. Dr. Aman wants to support women throughout all the changes that come with pregnancy.
