Dr. Chathanatt is originally from Florida. She received her medical training at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her training in Family Medicine at University of Miami. She further pursued her fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Medicine at Broward General Medical Center. Dr Chathanatt comes to UTSW from Emory University where she served as faculty and participated in expanding their palliative care program with development and integration of hospice units. Dr. Chathanatt brings to UTSW a strong background in Hospice and Palliative Care. Her passion and clinical practices focuses on family centered care for those with life threatening illnesses. Dr. Chathanatt’s interests outside of medicine include her family, reading, and outdoor activities.
