Biography

Craig Glazer, M.D., is a Professor in UT Southwestern Medical Center's Department of Internal Medicine.

He specializes in pulmonary and critical care medicine, with a focus on interstitial lung diseases and occupational and environmental lung diseases. He joined the UT Southwestern faculty as part of the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine in 2002.

Dr. Glazer received his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine. He performed his residency in internal medicine at UT Southwestern and completed a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. In addition, he was a resident in Occupational and Environmental Medicine at National Jewish Medical and Research Center.

He also researches causes and treatments of interstitial lung diseases. One focus of his research is bioaerosol-induced lung diseases, such as the kind that causes hypersensitivity pneumonitis.

Dr. Glazer has received numerous awards and honors, including being named a Best Doctor by D Magazine for multiple years, and a Top Doctor by Castle Connelly.

He is board certified in pulmonary medicine, critical care medicine, and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and in occupational medicine by the American Board of Preventive Medicine.
