Dr. Deally’s interests include the development of clinical practice guidelines for the use of sedative medications in the ICU and ongoing assessment of the effectiveness of their use. As a member of the Children’s Health Clinical Decision Support Committee, she is involved in an ongoing review of all the order sets in use and proposed for use at CMC. She has been instrumental in developing and updating admission care plans for all patients admitted to the CICU.

Dr. Deally is also coordinating the Heart Center’s neurodevelopmental outcome assessment clinic that is designed to provide ongoing assessment and therapies for all post-operative cardiac surgical patients.
