Biography
Dr. Peng is an Associate Professor of Pathology. She joined UT Southwestern Medical Center in 2011. Dr. Peng’s clinical interests and expertise include neoplastic and non-neoplastic liver, pancreas and gastrointestinal pathology, and liver transplant pathology. Dr. Peng also have strong passion in innovative translational research, her current research interests include clinicopathological, immunohistochemical, and molecular characterization of gastrointestinal, liver and pancreas neoplasm as well as inflammatory diseases.
Dr. Peng has served as co-investigator for about 10 research grants, including R01s, U01s, many other NIH/NCI grants as well as grants from various foundations. Her works were published in high-profile journals including Cell reports and Lancet Oncology.
