Biography

Amimi Osayande MD is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine. She graduated from the University of Benin in Benin City, Nigeria in 2000. In 2008, she completed her post graduate residency at the East Carolina University School of medicine in Greenville, North Carolina. She spent one year in private practice before joining UT Southwestern in 2010. Her interests include Pediatric/adult obesity, EBM critical appraisal, medical and creative writing, and resident education.
