Biography

Michael Concepcion, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He is currently on staff at the VA North Texas Health Care System specializing in nephrology.

Dr. Concepcion holds a bachelor's degree in physiological science from the University of California. He earned his medical degree at the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor. He completed internal medicine residency training at UT Southwestern Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in nephrology. 

Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in nephrology, Dr. Concepcion joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2014.

Dr. Concepcion's clinical practice encompasses hypertension, kidney stones, glomerular kidney disease, chronic kidney disease, hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis management, and renal transplant care.
