Biography

Li Song, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine and a member of the Division of Endocrinology. She is also a faculty member in the Charles and Jane Pak Center for Mineral Metabolism and Clinical Research.

Dr. Song holds a bachelor's degree in biochemistry from the University of Texas at Austin. She completed her medical degree, internal medicine residency training, and a fellowship in endocrinology at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism, Dr. Song joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2017.

Personal Note

Dr. Song’s interests outside of medicine include traveling, cooking, hiking, taekwondo, and spending time with her family.
